we must honestly say that we haven't read the comics yet ... (part due to a lack of time...part due to the fact that we're kinda pessimistic as to reading their "adventures" from a comic book..)
anyone.... tips, should we, shoudln't we? LOL

It's not weird to read it, because I can see the characters doing and saying all those things. The best part is you don't have any limitations!

personally i'm not into the comics. i have a few old ones but just never got into the whole comic book scene so i doubt i will ever read them. I would of prefered it if they had done season 8 as novels rather than comics, but thats just my opinion.

I did my best on this one, please note it is a 17mb download, since I wanted to keep the quality high... This is part 1, from the first (of three) comics (I will make the second and also last part asap): Season 8, #1, part 1

I did not like the comics... it's just not like... uh... like Buffy. I think it's better to not read them and let your imagination do the rest....

Hi, I actually buy all the volumes (so no issues but Part 1: long way home etc.). I actually like them. I like it because of the lingo, I like it because the story continues. I like the crossmedial/ cross-over things. I didn't agree with the fact that in Angel Buffy was dancing/dating the immortal. And season 8.1 makes it all clear. I can't say I agree with everything, but then I just compartmentalize (or something). To me the show will always be the real deal, but the comics are giving me some extra stories to just get lost in and to keep enjoying the characters: without any limitations (guest appearences, such as Oz, or simply flying Willow and special effects). I think it's great. I never used to be a comicbook reader (except for some Dutch ones when I was little(er)). But I love the fact that her story isn't over yet . xoxo
