This is my everlasting love Been loving their music ever since they got their Joyride album about (back in 1991). Had the pleasure of meeting them once, before their first Room Service gig in Munchen, Germany. It seems like it's been ages since I saw them live (which can be true, the last time was in 2001). Anyone wants to discuss Roxette's music with me???

C'mon join the joyride! I remember we gave you their greatest hits cd for your birthday last year. And your mother looked shocked at first because she thought it was something like Rammstein, hihi!

Hihi so I noticed I still think they have made some awesome songs, also some I like less, but it is a shame that no one seems to remember them. Even though some of their songs have been (badly) covered by several (bad) artists... Luckily Per is still very active with his career outside of Roxette. Marie is taking it easier, enjoying her time with her family.

yeah it really is a pity that a lot of people don't remember them..and most of the time the song they do remember is "It must have been love" because it was on the movie "Pretty Woman"
Ah well..you can't have it all right hihi
And also great Per is still doing a lot with music and making new albums...however I can imagine Marie wants to spend time with her family

I do think the style they had in the early 90's was the best. Though I must admit they made many good songs after the 90's I love some of their ballads so much that I could listen to them all day long. I will post a list here of my favorite ballads and rocking/pop songs (top 3): Ballads: The sweet hello, the sad goodbye My world, my love, my life Listen to your heart Rock/pop: How do you do! Real sugar Dangerous The last project Per worked on was his solo cd "Party Crasher". it has a quite different style than he "used" for Roxette, but still it is very catchy. Though some songs, I did have to get used to the sound of them. Steph, if you're interested in Party Crtasher, let me know when you are here

I remember Roxette! Whenever I hear them on the radio (always either "it must have been love" or "joyride") I am taken back to my highschool days because Roxette reminds me of Cynni. Never been much of a Roxette fan (sorry, I was and still am a Take That lover, I'm a weird one at that ) but Cynni liked them enough for the both of us, haha.

Now that you mention it, I do remember something like that. Hmmmmm, was that the trick that did it? Darn, should have thougt of that when I had to drop his class because I was soooooooooo bad at it! Or was that because I sat next to you...... Haha, no, sorry, just kidding. Besides, I had to change subjects and took georaphy (and had to make up for that over the summer, I made it thanks to your notes and stuff, don't know if I ever thanked you for that) and we sat together in that class too if I remeber correct, and I did pass that exam. With my heels over the mote as the dutch saying goes, but still.

Maybe that's why I did make my final exam Hahaha! Cynni, that's a great story. Before 2005, I had a very limited knowledge of Roxette. "It Must Have Been Love" and "Listen to Your Heart" just hadn't convinced me to start listening. It all changed one Saturday toward the end of a chat at the Corrs Fan Base in the autumn of 2005, when Cynni introduced me to "Run to You." Swantje also told me that I would like it, and she was right! ;D Shortly after, Cynni introduced me to "The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye" and "My World, My Love, My Life." I think I knew I had become a huge Roxette fan while listening to the amazing performance by Marie on "My World, My Love My Life." Later, near the end of 2005, the Son of a Plumber album came out which is still one of my favourite albums of all time. I still remember Cyn couldn't stop singing "Jo Anna Says" during one voice chat. In 2006, I started listening to the free downloads of the Mazarin Demos (in Swedish). Cynni also introduced me to "Solsken" (by Gyllene Tider) which really impressed me that Per Gessle is one of the all-time greats of pop songwriting. Since then, I have become a very, very big fan - not only of their music as Roxette but also Marie and Per's solo work, and Per's work with the "Son of a Plumber band" and his long-time band Gyllene Tider.
