Hello everyone!
One of the not too handy things of not hosting your own board, is that you have to work with:
1) banners with advertisements
2) less space for attachments
There are two options to work with it. Lucky for us, there are many photo and video hosting services that provide you with a link to add in your post (photobucket and youtube). So it depends on what we will wish to add as attachments... I can host some "items", depending on their size and all. BUT then you first need to contact me, if I approve you need to send it to me, I will need to upload it and send you the working link back.
IF we want more space and we do not mind to pay for this "luxory", you can donate money to this board which we can use for more space. What I've read, it is 2 dollars per month for every 20mb we wish to use. So what do you think?
About the advertisements: it costs 7 dollars each month for every 50.000 hits to keep this board advertisement free. So it depends on the number of members we get IF it would be useful for us.
What are your thoughts on it all?
Would you be able to contribute each month?
