Oh wow! Enjoy it, Joyce, and let us know how you like it.
I had forgotten about it until I turned on the TV and they were showing one of the earlier Harry Potter films and, during commercials, they were advertising the film. I think that I am going to see it too (at some point).

Why not? everyone can have his or her own opinion. It's easy to attack someones opinion, but why not let us know why you feel the need to do so???
I do believe they have left some important stuff out, but I also know the director did not want to put too much violence into this movie because there will be plenty of it in part 7...
I do not think it is a bad movie, not at all. It's like with LotR: you cannot put everything that everyone thinks important into a 2,5 hour movie...

I am just a bit different than you in this way I guess. When I have an other opinion than someone else has, I will also tell my point of view instead of just writing that I don't agree... I will say my dislikes and likes. I know everyone has a right to his and her own view! But that is also why I added that I think it's strange that you don't give your own opinion when you ask others to do so...
As I wrote, I think it did miss some scenes which I thought should have been in it. But if the director had to put everything that's written in the books and that people think should be in it, the movie would take at least 4 hours or so. And then people would not say: hey I did not miss anything! They would complain that the movie took too long...
I read some reviews and interviews and I knew why some of the fighting scenes that (I thought) were important would not be in it. And I also missed some other scenes that would deepen the characters other than Harry's. But I did enjoy the movie and did not think: what am I doing here???

I also missed some scenes but it does not make it a bad movie. I really loved the movie. I really wanted to break Snape his nose (not telling why because other people did not see it yet). I was so angry with him. Which means that they did a really good job in making the movie. Mr. Rickman played it very well.
