You really don't get what I am trying to tell you... If you ask someone about an opinion, it's only fair to post yours too. If you use CAPITAL letters, it usually means (in chat or on message boards) that you are shouting... So if you shout while asking a question, it seems that you don't agree with the one you're replying to... And I gave my opinion, Joyce gave hers... And while you were the one asking the question, you have never answered it yourself... So I am not angry, I just don;t understand why you don't give your own opinion to this question...

Though I haven't seen the LATEST (*not shouting* hihi ) film, I have noted that the directors have to leave things out to fit these Potter books into a typical feature-length film. I don't mind the cuts as much as when they change some of the story. In the Goblet of Fire film, I was missing the whole Dobby-Hermione-S.P.E.W. part of the story. But I didn't like how they made it so that it was NOT Dobby who helps Harry with one of the contests - the underwater contest. Thanks for letting me know that you like it, Cynni and Joyce! I will definitely see it!

But even so, if it were a bad movie, I guess I'd still want to see it for myself. Seeing people all have their own judgments and all... Yes, i tis highly irritating when they change stuff from the books. However we must also keep in mind that all these changes are approved by the original writer herself so we can complain, but it won't matter anything...

Well, I'm not exactly *complaining* - I have no illusions of getting them to go back and re-shoot the movie ; I'm merely *criticizing* the general practice of taking a very good and successful book and altering the story for a film version, even with blessing of the author. I'll grant you that it does mean something that J.K. Rowling is called in to consult with about the changes.

Well, then i'll give my opinion as well. I think the movie is far better than the first, aspecially when you look at the special effects. And of course, the characters are older. They did a good job making you feel the feeling wich you have reading the book. They took the time to let you know a bit more about the characters, the feelings they have. But i missed to much, aspecially a part wich is crucial for the next movie. I won't say more because other people haven't seen it yet

But I do believe most people have read the actual books before seeing the movies. And if you miss a fighting scene at the end: the director left it out on purpose. He already stated so in many interviews, that he decided to leave it out due to all the fighting in the 7th movie.

Yep i know about that, but more stuff is been left out. Think it`s a shame, because it's crucial for the next mivie. Like explainging Dumbledore about Voldemort to Harry, and where are the dudleys? I missed a crucial part.... but well, we will see how the next movie is :-D

News about the last book made into a movie:
Saying goodbye to Harry Potter has been hard - for fans of the books, and even more so the publishers and booksellers for whom he's been such a spectacular earner - but the Hollywood studio in charge of the film adaptations has found a way to postpone the last goodbye: by filming the final book in the series as two films.
According to the LA Times, Warner Brothers plans to split Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows into two movies. Part one will arrive in cinemas in November 2010 and part two will follow in May 2011. It might seem an obvious ruse to add a little more value to the richest franchise in movie history - which has brought in £2.2bn around the world thus far - but those involved insist the decision has been made to serve a story that cannot be properly adapted any more briefly.
Daniel Radcliffe, the series' star, is quoted as saying "it's the only way you can do it, without cutting out a huge portion of the book". He explained that subplots in earlier books could be excised for adaptations, but "the seventh book doesn't really have any subplots. It's one driving, pounding story from the word go."
It remains to be seen how cinema-goers will respond to a year-long break in the middle of all this driving and pounding. Clearly the entertainment industry is hoping it will mean one last bit of magic from its favourite wizard.
